Officials from Adelaide Zoo have paid a visit to see the two pandas who will be making the journey to Adelaide later in the year to live there for ten years.

as at 3 1/2 yeas old and 110kg he's way too big to accept personal visitors. Whilst the dainty Funi who's only 2 1/2 years old, the officials were able to get into the cage and feed her.
"We had a real treat. It's very unusual but we were able to go in and feed her some bamboo, say hello and gently touch her on the head, which gives you very good luck," said Dr West.
Before the visit this weekend officials had only ever seen pictures of the pair.
"It's sad, coming from a grown-up but when I went to bed (Saturday night) it was like the anticipation of Christmas when you're a kid," Dr West said. "I think people will fall in love with them."
