The Secretary General of China Wildlife Conservation Association paid a visit to the base at Ya'an where he inspected the pandas who were moved from the Wolong base after the quake. He was very pleased to find that the pandas were in good health both physically and mentally. He also inspected the tempoary accomodation for the pandas till the new facilities are ready.

He also paid a special tribute the keepers who were at Wolong at the time of the quake and the efforts they took to save the pandas. He also praised the work they are currently doing to make a better tomorrow for the pandas.
