May 15th is Endangered Species Day

As you know, Giant Pandas are one of the planet’s most endangered species.

So, we have chosen Endangered Species Day to launch our Pennies 4 Pandas website: www.pennies4pandas.org

Pennies 4 Pandas is an exciting new campaign to get individuals, schools, groups, and offices involved in our efforts to save the pandas.

We are currently focusing on the planting of bamboo seedlings, providing milk formula for the cubs that will be born in a few months, and, starting to purchase the necessary veterinary equipment which will be needed once the newly constructed Wolong Center is completed in 2010-2011.
