Mercedes-Benz (China) held talks on supporting pandas

On 20th February 2009, Miss Chen Zhen manager of public relations at Mercedes-Benz (China) and miss Zhu Menghua from Hill & Knowlton (China) visited the Bifengxia base to talk about supporting the giant panda. They were welcomed by the sectary (mr Zhou) of the Wolong Panda Club. Mr Zhou shows them around the panda garden explaining the current situation, the current scientific projects and the problems they are facing. Miss Zhen and Miss Zhu asked questions which mr Zhou explains in detail to them.

After the talks Mercedes-Benz (China) proposes that it intends to make over the panda kindergarten to make it a warmer and more beautiful home for the cubs. They also suggest that they support the centre's scientific research projects to promote the further development of giant panda conservation career.

Mercedes-Benz (China) participates in nature protection career positively for a long term. It provides successive aids to World's Natural Heritage in China, including the giant panda's habitat in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. Their support to the giant pandas of CCRCGP will be the sublimation of their Green Legacy Program.
