When Wang wang arrives in October at Adelaide Zoo with his panda pal Funi, he will have a 13m high English Oak to climb.

The tree from Victoria weighing between 15 and 20 tonnes and a root ball of 3x3 meters has been moved to his enclosure especially for him to climb. The move involved an oversized flat-bed truck and an 80-tonne crane.

Plans are also being made to provide Funi with her own climbing frame.
