I have a couple of panda births to report both at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

Firstly Yuan Yuan, a 13 year old panda gave birth to a female cub at the 25th August 2012. Then Jiao Zi a 17 year old panda gave birth to a cub on the 4th of September.

Well done to both pandas and everyone who looks after them.

So far there has been 15 births will all but one surviving.
