Wolong China Conservation and Research Centre has received a donation of 8 Million RMB (Yuan) from Guangzhou Chime-Long group during a donation ceremony at the National Treasure Garden of Xiangjiang Safari Park. It is the second donation given by the group the first one of 2 MIllion RMB was given soon after the quake when they found out that the Wolong Research Centre had been badly damaged.

Also whilst at the Safari Park, leaders broke ground for the Chime-long Giant Panda Centre for the start of a new extension to the National Treasure Garden of Xiangjiang Safari Park, which is the world's best panda house.

The extension will increase the area to 200 million square meters, integrating giant panda's feeding, breeding and scientific research. Pandas will have more comfortable houses and visitors can learn more about the giant panda's life.
